One fellowship will be awarded every year.

An amount of Rs 5000/= will be awarded to facilitate travel and stay. All postgraduate students of Karnataka undergoing training for the M.Ch/Dip N B urology degrees, who are also members of the Karnataka Urology Association, only are eligible to apply. Applications should be made in a prescribed form which can be downloaded from the website. This should be completed and mailed to Dr. Girish Nelvigi by September 30, 2011.

Selection will be based on the total of marks obtained in the following categories

• Pre-assessment credit – Total 15 marks for past awards, prizes, Presentation and publications. Every paper presentation in National/state level urology conferences- 0.5 marks For every paper presentation in international urology conference – 2.5 marks Every publication in non indexed medical journal – 2.5 marks Every publication in indexed medical journal – 5 marks
• MCQ in Urology at a postgraduate level – Total 60 marks. This MCQ will be conducted during the annual conference of the KUA.
