» Dr Joseph Antony left for heavenly abode on 2/6/2022.
» He was one of the founder members of Bangalore Urological society
» After his graduation from Stanley Medical college he obtained his post graduation in Gen Surgery in USA and later obtained FRCS
» He worked at St Martha’s Hospital and later moved on to St Johns Medical college where he established the Department of Urology in 1983 .
» After his retirement he was practicing at St Philomenas hospital.
He was one of the members responsible for growth of Urology along with senior members like Prof H S Bhat and Dr T S Jairam.
» He has mentored many urologists who are stalwarts in Urology today. He was a passionate academician and was also amateur weightlifter in his college days
